Protest in Baku


Protesti  against increase of costs

On april 5th National Council has held rally in “ Məhsul” stadium in Baku. According to information on media the purpose of rally was to protest against the cost increase. Different representative parties on National Council have participated in Rally.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Ali Karimli, chariman of National Council Jamil Hasanli, members of National Council Eldaniz Guliyev, Gultakin Hajibayli and Nuraddin Mammadli have given speeches in rally. According to Musavat newspaper there were no any incidents in rally.

If you had an opportunity to meet president, what would you tell him?

I remember as a kid I would read a lot of books. I started with reading different tales. One thing I never forget and would love to apply to my country today. In those tales King (Padishah) would wear old clothes and would become unrecognizable. He would walk around the city, talk to people ask them questions about "How the King manages the country? What do you think of King?" People would never recognize him and share their problems or positive opinions about the King. At the end King would go back to his kingdom and start doing reforms for the best future of his kingdom. But today? Do president really hears people's problems?
