Azerbaijan: Land of fire or land of arrests?

Government authorities have targeted the Youth activists. They are arrested, tortured and ill treated in prison. Among political prisoners there are: Youth activists, journalists, bloggers, human right defenders, religion followers and close family members of activists. Following are the lists of political prisoners starting from 2013 year. Aziz Mammadov: Aziz Mammadov is a member of NIDA Civic Movement. He was arrested on 2013 March 7. He is charged on possessing drug. Rashadat Akhundov : Rashadat is co-founder of NIDA CIVIC Movement. He has graduated from TUrkish Private High School. Rashadat gained his bachelors degree from Azerbaijan State Economic University.At University he was in the special talents group specializing in finance and accounting. After graduating from University he gained Masters Degree  from CEU Business School in the field of Business Administration degree in 2007. Day by day members of NIDA Citizen Movement are getting arrested

Day  by day members of NIDA citizen movement are getting arrested. Today one of the members of NIDA: Dashqin Melikov got arrested. He is imprisoned for 2 years and 6 months with false accusation of using drugs. Another member of NIDA also got arrested is Rashad Hasanov who is from Southern Region and a very educative person. Since NIDA is created many active members of NIDA is getting arrested. It is really hurtful, because all of them are educated Youth of Azerbaijan. Most of them get accused by  using "Drug".
